LOOK AT ME è un format di 3 mostre che riflette sul corpo, sulla libertà dell’espressione artistica e il mondo della notte attraverso l’esplorazione e l’inserimento di arte contemporanea in luoghi non convenzionali.
SARA VAN BUSSEL
Dopo aver conseguito specialistica in Teoria d’Arte Contemporanea all’Università di Amsterdam Sara van Bussel (Desenzano del Garda, 1993) si è stabilita a Milano, dove lavora come Art advisor per una storica galleria di Design. Accanto all’attività di vendita e consulenza svolge anche progetti di curatela indipendente e ricopre la carica di head of research per il collettivo OTTN Projects, per la quale cura tutte le pubblicazioni e coordina progetti espositivi di artisti emergenti e non. Il legame con l’estero e il nord Europa è rimasto inoltre nella sua attività di art writer, che svolge mensilmente per gli spazi espositivi The curators Room (Amsterdam) e L’officina (Barcelona).
MANUELA NOBILE
Manuela (Genova, 1996) è art director e graphic designer, di base a Milano, città in cui si è laureata presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera nel triennio di Progettazione Artistica per l’Impresa e alla Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, NABA nella specialistica di Communication Design. Nel 2019 fonda State Of, un progetto espositivo d’arte contemporanea, con lo scopo di creare una nuova piattaforma d’arte multidisciplinare ospite in luoghi non convenzionali come showroom di moda o spazi già ibridi come Scalo Lambrate. La sua passione per la direzione artistica l’ha spinta verso il settore della comunicazione nel quale lavora presso un’agenzia a Milano.

LOOK AT ME is a format of 3 exhibitions that reflects on the body, the freedom of artistic expression and the world of the night through the experimentation and insertion of contemporary art in unconventional places.
SARA VAN BUSSEL
After obtaining a master’s degree in Contemporary Art Theory at the University of Amsterdam Sara van Bussel (Desenzano del Garda, 1993) settled in Milan, where she works as an art advisor for a historic design gallery. Alongside the sales and consultancy activity, she also carries out independent curatorship projects and holds the position of head of research for the collective OTTN Projects, for which she edits all the publications and coordinates exhibition projects by emerging and non-emerging artists. The link with foreign countries and northern Europe also remained in her activity as an art writer, which she carries out monthly for the exhibition spaces The curators Room (Amsterdam) and L’ officina (Barcelona), as well as for fashion and art magazines such Set n Match magazine and NR.
MANUELA NOBILE
Manuela (Genova, 1996) is art director and graphic designer, based in Milan. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Artistic Design for companies and the New Academy of Fine Arts, NABA, with a specialization in Communication Design. In 2019 she founded State Of, a contemporary art exhibition project with the aim of creating a new multidisciplinary art platform hosted in unconventional places such as fashion showrooms or hybrid spaces such as Scalo Lambrate. Her passion for art direction pushed her towards the communication sector in which she works, leading projects for different agencies in Milan.
